Odisha ended their campaign in Womens Senior One-Day Tournament with a two-wicket win over Haryana at Sachin Tendulkar Gymkhana in Mumbai today. With this win, Odisha finished second in Elite Group B, collecting 24 points from eight matches. They won six and lost two.
Odisha captain Madhusmita Behera secured 13th place in the list of top scorer with 284 runs, including two fifties. With 16 scalps to her name, Sushree Divyadarshini proved to be the most successful Odisha bowler, taking 12th posisiton in the list of highest wicket-takers.
Madhusmita and Sushree also played major roles in the win against Haryana, scoring 65 runs and bagging five wickets respectively. Put into bat, Haryana mustered 209 for nine. Odisha overhauled the target with three balls to spare, losing eight wickets in the process.
